Diverse Studio partnered with Acadiana Veterinary Surgery to design a new specialty veterinary facility in Lafayette, Louisiana. Created to support advanced surgical care, the facility brings together exam rooms, diagnostic imaging, treatment areas, operating rooms, animal wards, and dedicated staff spaces within an efficient and thoughtfully organized environment. Each area was carefully planned to support the veterinary team’s specialized workflow while providing a safe and comfortable experience for animals and their owners.

Clear separation between public, clinical, and staff functions supports intuitive circulation, patient safety, privacy, and efficient daily operations. The layout allows staff to move easily between treatment, surgery, recovery, and support areas while minimizing unnecessary stress for patients. Durable, animal-friendly materials are balanced with warm wood tones, natural light, and inviting finishes to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere for pets, clients, and the veterinary team.

The design also considers the facility’s long-term flexibility, allowing spaces and systems to adapt as technology, services, and patient needs evolve.
